Hello,

My name is Cindy and I am from the beautiful islands of Trinidad and Tobago. I’m due to have an operation in October 2025. It’s a myomectomy, which is a surgical procedure to remove uterine fibroids from my uterus without having the uterus removed. There are 3 main fibroids that my doctor has found but the largest one is the size of a 5 month fetus. Having these fibroids has been negatively affecting my health over the past few years but they have become worse recently – extremely heavy menstrual bleeding, severe pelvic pain, low blood count, low iron, and the inability to have children.

The total cost for this surgery (which includes surgeon, anaesthetist, operating theatre, hospital stay, histology, medical supplies, and medication) is $105,500.00.

While my health insurance covers 60% of the cost = $63,300.  I still have to pay the remaining 40% = $42,200.00 on my own.

So I am here asking for your assistance to please help me raise the funds needed to have this surgery done. Your assistance would be greatly appreciated.
